From a Seed of Compassion to a Sanctuary of Hope
In Afghanistan, there is no ASPCA. No humane society. No animal control. Thousands of street dogs face starvation, untreated illness, and violence every day — with nowhere to turn. Kindred Creatures was founded to change that.
What began as one person's grassroots effort has grown into a full-scale animal welfare operation: a permanent sanctuary housing 200+ rescued dogs, a mobile Animal Rescue Unit, mass vaccination drives, and an international adoption pipeline connecting healed animals with loving families in the US.
As a registered US 501(c)(3) nonprofit (Tax ID: 39-2162769), every donation is fully tax-deductible. We are committed to financial transparency and maximizing the impact of every dollar — because in Afghanistan, a small gift goes a very long way.

The Kindness Center
Our sanctuary in Afghanistan is a safe home for over 200 rescued dogs. With dedicated kennels, a veterinary clinic, bathing stations, and open-air rehabilitation spaces, The Kindness Center provides everything animals need to heal and thrive.
The facility is staffed around the clock by our Afghan team, who provide daily medical care, feeding, socialization, and rehabilitation for every animal in our care.
